Circulation Policy & Rules
*5th graders may check out reference materials (excluding encyclopedias) overnight.
* Kindergarten through second graders will be expected to check out one book on their reading level and one free choice book.
*Only students returning books will be allowed to check out new books.
Check out privileges will be suspended until
damaged/lost books are paid for. Students
also have the option of replacing a damaged/lost book with a new copy of
the same title.
Media Center Rules
1. Take care of library property, such as books, magazines, shelf markers, and furniture.
2. Walk in the library.
3. Speak in a quiet voice.
4. Listen quietly during lesson and story time.
5. Be respectful to the librarians, library assistant, and other students.
6. Keep your hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.
Students are expected to follow the rules. Special prizes may be given to the students who show the best library behavior in each class.
A best behaved class in grades k-2 and 3-5 will be chosen each week and awarded with a special certificate.
