Adams Elementary

Welcome to the Adams Media Center!  Our library is home to 14,370 books, 400 videos & DVDs  as well as 125 books on tape.  We operate on a fully fixed schedule, seeing every K-5 class each week.  Students may check out books when they come with their class during their media time.  (Please see circulation policy for the number of books each grade level may check out at one time. )  In addition to our three search stations, nine computers are also located in the library for student and teacher use.   

Please see Mrs. Cash, Mrs. Chamberlin or Ms. Emery if you would like to volunteer in the library.  There is always something to do!    

Upcoming Events

Kindergarten, first, second, and third graders are participating in the North Carolina Children's Book Awards. Sixteen picture books are nominated for this prestigious award.  We are busy reading and discussing each book.  In March, the students will vote for their favorite story.  

We will be celebrating Read Across America the week of February 26th - March 2nd.
